MyJeffersonHealth Video Visit Help


This is a Jefferson Telehealth help site with instructions and tips for how to join your video visit with your Jefferson provider. To join your visit, you may use the MyChart app on your phone or tablet or go to the MyChart website from your computer.

What is MyChart or MyJeffersonHealth?

MyJeffersonHealth’s patient portal allows you to use a mobile app or the website to connect to your video visit with your physician. The portal also gives you free, online access to your Jefferson Health medical record, 24/7. Through a secure, internet connection, you can use your MyJeffersonHealth account to conveniently manage and receive information about your health.

To join your video visit, you must have an active MyJeffersonHealth account.

In addition, must activate your account at least one day in advance of your visit, to minimize the possibility of any last minute technical challenges.

If you do not yet have a MyJeffersonHealth account, please call 1-800-JEFF-NOW or the MyChart Helpline at 215-503-5700. A representative will send you an instant activation link.

Test your Camera or Microphone

Before your video visit begins, MyJeffersonHealth will run quick camera and microphone test.

Press Test Connection. Make sure you press Allow on the pop-up message in the upper left asking to access to the webcam. If it does not work, contact support. 215-955-7975, Option 4  for Telehealth


Gain or Give Proxy Access

Jefferson patients can give another person the right to see their Jefferson medical record. Proxy access gives the person that you name (your “Proxy”) (i.e., parent, legal guardian, or other elected adult) the ability to view your medical record information and talk with your health care providers using MyJeffersonHealth (“Patient Portal”).
