MyChart Help for Patients


The MyChart patient portal allows you to use a mobile app or website to connect to your video visit. You must have an active MyChart account to have a video visit. To register for and use this feature: 

You must activate your account at least one day in advance of your visit, to minimize the possibility of any last minute technical challenges.

If you do not yet have a MyChart account, please call 1-800-JEFF-NOW or the MyChart Helpline at 215-503-5700. A representative will send you an instant activation link.


Using a Computer

Log into the MyChart patient portal about 10 minutes early with your account information. Please note, you must have a working webcam and audio to successfully connect to your provider.

Test Your Camera!

Press Start Cam to test your webcam. Then, press Allow on the pop-up message in the upper left asking to access to the webcam. If it does not work, double check all settings, if still not working contact support. 215-955-7975, Option 4  for Telehealth

Proxy Access

Become a Proxy

Many times patients require assistance to manage care and navigate the healthcare system. In these cases, it is necessary to retain a proxy who will access their information and securely communicate with their physician’s office. This communication is handled through a MyJeffersonHealth account. If you are a parent, legal guardian or other designated adult, you might be eligible to become a designated proxy. To gain proxy access for an adult: 

  • Ask the patient's provider office for the proxy access form or print it here
  • Complete the required documentation
  • Present the form to the patient's Jefferson physician office or one of the following locations:
